When changing the address of the head office, an enterprise must announce it to the Business Registration Office within 10 days from the day that the changed content was accepted.
Is it compulsory to announce the change of the company address?
Clause 2, Article 31, Law on Enterprise 2020 regulates very specific that every enterprise is responsible for announcing in writing the change of the head office to Business Registration Agency within 10 days. If it is over such term, enterprises would be under administrative fines according to Article 31, Decree 50/2016/NĐ-CP about penalties for administrative violations against regulations on planning and investment. The levels of fine that would be applied to enterprises is specified as follows:
- Enterprises take a fine of 500,000 – 1,000,000 if over the term from 1 – 30 days
- Enterprises take a fine of 1,000,000 – 2,000,000 if over the term from 31 – 90 days
- Enterprises take a fine of 2,000,000 – 5,000,000 if over the term from 91 days to more
